Castle built from the 12th century by the Lords of Coligny, it was remodeled in the 15th and enlarged in the 19th century. Birthplace of Dukes Philibert II and Charles III of Savoy, the castel was the favorite residence of Duke Philippe II, known as "landless".

The castle can be visited during the summer season with the tour guides of the tourist office, or during the European Heritage Days.

It is located in the heart of a pretty park freely accessible all year round. A belvedere offering a nice view of the Ain river flowing at its feet and a charming medieval garden will enhance your visit.

A wandering book box is also located in the heart of the pretty park not far from the simple garden.

The castle can only be visited on the occasion of the European Heritage Days organized by the community of municipalities that occupies its premises.
The park is freely accessible to all and offers departures for hiking trails.
The toilets are located in the premises of the community of communes, on the ground floor and are therefore only accessible during their opening hours.
