The building baptized "crypt" by Leymairie, a painter from Lyon, dates from the 1838th-XNUMXth century. Its name comes from a hermit from Italy. Although it was thought to have been destroyed, it was rediscovered by chance in XNUMX following a landslide.

You enter through a door pierced during its restoration in the last century. It is divided into three sections by two pairs of columns. It includes an apse and two apsidioles. Of the original abbey, only a few parts of the building remain today, including the relatively modern prior's house and the Romanesque crypt of Saint-Domitien.
