An immersion in the wide meanders punctuated by pebble banks and lônes of the Ain river, which changes shape frequently and whose course varies according to the floods. Here she lives a course in freedom, that is to say a space where she can wander, overflow, take her ease.
This dynamic creates a mosaic of environments: lônes, brotteaux, riparian forests which shelter a rich fauna and flora. The alluvial forest is natural and bordered by dry orchid lawns.

Many interpretation panels line the route to help you discover the natural phenomena of the river, and guide you in the appreciation of the heritage around the village of Blyes, such as the priory of Notre Dame des Ariges, built with the pebbles of the river of Ain.

Departure: from the priory or from the lake of Blyes. Access from the D124, to the Place de la Mairie from the chemin de Baccolanche or the Route de Chazey
Points of interest: Ru du Gua, view of the Ain River, Priory, lake...
