Parking is at the level of the landscaped park, near the fire station.
Once parked, take the direction of the main road, avenue Charles de Gaulle.
At Avenue Charles de Gaulle, turn left, walk a few meters, cross and take the Chemin des Roches opposite.
Continue on the Chemin des Roches until there is the greenway/old tram route on the right (marked as a cycle path).

Continue on the greenway to the level of the Durandière castle located at the exit of the village of St Sorlin en Bugey, which can be seen clearly from the old tram line.

Historical discovery option: Possibility of visiting the medieval village of St Sorlin en Bugey before resuming the route at the level of the Durandière castle (this discovery is not taken into account in the duration of this route)

If you do not want to take the option to discover the historic town, make a round trip. (otherwise you will have to go down to the level of the Areymond washhouse, walk along the small park with a pond and wooden sculptures and cross the road to reach the Château de la Durandière)

At the level of the castle, walk along the gates of the castle then turn right, on the chemin de la Durandière which will itself go along the park of the castle.
This path joins via Rhôna, passing along fields and a few stone houses.
Once on via Rhôna, turn right (from here you can see the back of the park of the Château de la Durandière)
Follow via Rhôna to the end (marked by the dedicated car park)
In the car park along the road, take the small path to cross (wooden logs with a "stop" sign for bicycles and pedestrians)
Take the groomed dirt road that goes opposite (passage over a small bridge then along enclosed gardens)
Walk along the stream for a few tens of meters on the side of the Faubourg des Moulins subdivision.
Then follow the pedestrian markings (red and white) which turns right into the landscaped park of Lagnieu (opposite the parking lot)
Cross the park by the path of your choice (along the stream, or by cutting through the paths to the tennis courts)

Return to the car park located between the tennis courts, the pond and the fire station.
