A Wi-Fi terminal for Internet allows free connection from a personal laptop, in addition to a computer station, accessible by appointment.

Attached to the Culture department, the media library also offers many activities, particularly aimed at young people: monthly "Baby readers" and "Heure du conte" sessions, a reading committee on children's literature, discussions with the Maison de Early Childhood, favorite sessions, meetings with writers... Interactive exhibitions for children and teenagers are presented each year as well as an annual festival "At the theater at La Grenette", not to mention the very many class receptions , all year.
It is part of the public reading network of the department of Ain (DLP)
Finally, an attic of memories, the media library houses the national headquarters of the association for autobiography (APA), whose fund of life stories and personal diaries is unique in France (more than 3000 references).

Upstairs is the old village hall of Ambérieu, today the Armand Decour hall. A self-taught historian, Armand Decour (1908-1984) is the author of numerous historical works on the canton
d'Ambérieu. On his death, he bequeathed his working library as well as a large collection of prints and autographs to the media library. Regularly, heritage exhibitions make it possible to highlight
value this important regional fund.

The volume of the room, as well as its small stage – where the musicians played – allow the presentation of reading-shows and small theatrical forms. The extraordinary architectural quality of this room gives it the appearance of a large gallery in a Museum of Fine Arts. Contemporary art exhibitions are thus seen by schools under the guidance of teachers and in conjunction with artists.
