From Perouges to Bugey
Short walk without difficulty, very pleasant on the banks of the Rhône. By staying on the grassy part, pedestrians can safely share the Via Rhôna cycle lane. The path along the water leads to the Château de Vertrieu.
Small detour recommended by the beautiful village of Saint-Sorlin-en-Bugey: its stone facades, its medieval fresco, its church... Wine tasting cellar in the village.
Picnic area on arrival in Vertrieu, with a view of the castle opposite.
To be combined with the bike path: from Marcilleux to Saint-Sorlin (10km), in one direction or the other.
