No difficulty. The path runs along the edge of the Rhône, without any elevation gain.

The view of the river, the rustling of the wind in the leaves, the coolness of the trees make it an ideal trail for an easy and quick walk.

The chapel cannot be visited but you can appreciate its rounded architecture. An impressive contrast of eras is created on arrival with the neighboring power station.

The river stop, in the calm of the weeping willows, with a view of the waters of the Rhône offers a pleasant setting for a snack break at the end of the walk.

Advice from the Office

By bike, from the chapel, following the towpath on the banks of the Rhône, it is possible to go to Saint-Sorlin (via the Lagnieu roundabout, about 20km). Possibility to then resume the cycling route of the Via Rhôna towards Geneva.
