Located on the heights of Ambronay, famous for its abbey, the farm is in the heart of the hamlet of Merland, a small picturesque village in Bugey. The farm has cattle breeding including the Scottish Highland Cattle breed and Montbéliardes to produce suckling calves. There is also an outdoor pig fattening operation. There are therefore no births of piglets on the farm.

The animals are most often in the meadows around the farm or on the heights of the town. As for the pigs, they are outside all year around the farm.

The veal, beef and pork is cut and packaged in the farm workshop. For more simplicity, customers can order their meat by email and pick them up when they are sold on the farm. It is also possible to go through the Amaps of Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Amap'Hort and Ain'stant Panier), Sainte-Julie, Meximieux, Versonnex, Bohas and Jujurieux.
