From a belvedere at the edge of the road, the Cerin peat bog offers an almost perfect disc of water 40m in diameter. Rich in rare plants, this sensitive natural space takes the shape of an eye. Will you have the courage to look inside?

The bog is rich in sphagnum, and the water forms a circular basin 40m in diameter and a depth that varies from 2,5m to 3,2m, the level there is constant.

The Cerin bog is home to a large number of remarkable animal and plant species, including several protected species (Damier de la Sucisse butterflies, Bacchante, Azuré des Mouillères, sundews, etc.).

Warning: it is forbidden to walk in the bog. An orientation table and explanations are at the level of the viewpoint on the peat bog.
