La Côtière artisanal dairy

The Meximieux cheese factory, historic site of Laiterie la Côtière, has been welcoming you all year round for 15 years now.

Throughout the year and depending on the seasons, there are nearly 400 cheese references on offer at the counter.
Local cheeses, cheeses from all over France, AOP, IGP certified cheeses, farmhouse, artisanal cheeses…
Not forgetting a wide selection of charcuterie, caterers, groceries and poultry.

But the hallmark of the Meximieux cheese factory is a range of products produced just a few kilometers away, on 2 production sites, in an artisanal and environmentally friendly manner.

Yogurts, pots, beaten fromage blanc and the "Ramequin du Bugey", everything is made with authenticity and respect for the products.

The specialty of the place? “Fruit yogurt” since 1978, a firm yogurt generously topped with fruit coulis, a true signature product!

And there is also the famous Ramequin, a small cheese with a strong character, typical of Bugey, which is only eaten melted.
Available for sale in a traditional roll, and also in a grated version, ready to melt for greater ease.

The Dairy's products have received 21 medals at the Concours Général Agricole and Concours International de Lyon since 2013! All its products are certified “Saveurs de l’Ain”, and the “Ramequin du Bugey” is certified “my region, its terroirs”.
