Built at the end of the 19th century (1867-1870) it replaces an old collegiate church which has now disappeared. With its 17th/18th century statues and its Virgin in the 15th century mantle, the church conceals many treasures.
This church has always depended on the abbey of Ambronay.
Some objects are worthy of interest:
the big bell from 1495, one of the oldest in the department
2 adoring angels on each side of the painted wooden choir dated from the middle of the 17th century
the statue of gilded wood of the altar of the Blessed Virgin coming perhaps from the old church seems to date from the beginning of the 18th century.
Two paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries: The Death of the Just and The Decollation of St John the Baptist
19th century stained glass windows
