The city is a coherent set of houses of craftsmen and merchants from the end of the Middle Ages, all in pebbles and bricks.
Rich in its many activities around exhibitions, markets and historical discovery events, Pérouges is a little gem where strolling while marveling is a must.
Its unity and its charm make it a timeless city, a preserved witness to one of the strongholds of the powerful Duchy of Savoy.
Pérouges is one of the three beautiful medieval villages of the Dombes, a must-see place between tradition and delicacy and one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
The city is therefore not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
