The Maison des Princes, residence of the city's nobles, houses a museum of popular traditions. The visitor walks past ancient objects, to the weaving workshop, passing by the watchtower and its panoramic view, to end in the medieval garden.
The first two rooms allow you to discover local earthenware of historical renown, that of Meillonnas, traditional furniture, old kitchen or daily life objects, dictionaries from Trévoux, old plans and documents, 19th century tools and weapons from various eras.
The following rooms present an exhibition of contemporary art or photographs.
Going up to the watchtower, the weaver's workshop opens its doors which also lead to the panoramic view of the surrounding area where visitors can use an orientation table.
The visit ends with the small medieval garden which presents different plant species. An atypical and unique place in the medieval city.
