Village of Blyès

Pet Friendly

Reduced mobility adaptation

Blyes is a charming village a few steps from a body of water and the Ain River. Its 15th century priory is an architectural beauty and still hosts cultural events today. Walking or cycling trails are nearby.

On the main square, the beautiful blonde stone priory adjoins a very pleasant restaurant-bar, perfect for relaxing after a walk, to sip a chilled house cocktail or enjoy an artisanal ice cream on the terrace at the back. Opposite, the village bakery and grocery store will provide you with all the foodstuffs you need for a picnic. If you take one of the paths for walking or cycling (or even with a pushchair for the shortest, with no height difference), you can put your blanket at the edge of the body of water. A little corner of calm for epicureans, who will enjoy the charming guinguette des Brotteaux in summer. Otherwise the most active can use the brand new fitness trail. The town also has a large hotel.
