From Perouges to Bugey
This road circuit leads from Serrière-sur-Ain to Dover. It invites you to cross a dozen villages at the bend of charming little roads. Roads that wind over the hills, bursting with grapes, or along the Ain river.
The detours and stages of this circuit, by car or motorbike:
From Saint-Alban, Lablame: viewpoints over the Cerdon valley, the Ain plain. The village of Cerdon has a number of cellars ready to let you taste the sparkling rosé wine, emblem of the region. Do not miss to visit the caves of Cerdon.
Challes, Serrière-sur-Ain: one of the most beautiful views of the Dombes, the foothills of Revermont and in the distance the mountains of Lyonnais. To impress you!
The Ain river: the silvery meanders of the Ain take you on a discovery of its picturesque villages, its impressive cliffs, its striking viewpoints or even imposing works of art. At each bend, the spectacle is renewed.
Ambronay, a village steeped in history, opens the doors of its abbey, nearly 1000 years old. Not to mention its early music festival in the fall.
