Historical festival Fest'Ain d'Histoire

For the participant, it is about discovering other periods and taking advantage of exchanges between associations, while sharing an enriching and friendly moment. He will also be able to attend several conferences on cross-cutting themes. For this, we invite re-enactors (Antiquity, Middle Ages, modern and contemporary eras, etc.), researchers but also figure artists offering different approaches to the same passion.

For the visitor, the meeting of associations reconstituting various eras will allow him to travel through a living chronological timeline; questioning him about his representations and shaking up the clichés. We want to share our interest in history with the public by allowing them to attend conferences and discover other ways of bringing the past to life.

Fest'Ain d"Histoire is therefore not only a historical festival but a real festival bringing together numerous activities relating to History.
To stay all day, a refreshment bar presenting historic drinks and food artisans will be present. On Sunday, a spit-roasted ham will be cooked for lunch.
