Classified as a sensitive natural area, the water here forms an almost perfect circle about 40m in diameter. In the center of a bog rich in rare plants. From a panorama on the road, it is possible to observe this intriguing natural phenomenon.

The bog is rich in sphagnum, and the water forms a circular basin 40m in diameter and a depth that varies from 2,5m to 3,2m, the level there is constant.

The Cerin bog is home to a large number of remarkable animal and plant species, including several protected species (Damier de la Sucisse butterflies, Bacchante, Azuré des Mouillères, sundews, etc.).

Warning: it is forbidden to walk in the bog. An orientation table and explanations are at the level of the viewpoint on the peat bog.
Observation table on the road towards Marchamp/Innimond. Parking possible for 1 to 2 vehicles max.
