Library – Old Chapel of the Minor Seminary

This chapel was erected in 1807, at the same time as the seminary. In 1847, an arson caused by a student caused its partial destruction and that of the sacristy. The chapel was rebuilt in 1849.

The chapel was rebuilt in 1849 but the buildings turned out to be too cramped. New works were entrusted to Bossan, architect of the basilica of Fourvière. It has housed the municipal library since March 1989.
