La Croix Estion

Located at the intersection of rue de l'Ancienne Cure and rue du Faroux, it was erected by Canon Estion, at his expense, on March 15, 1576. The cross in yellowish oolitic limestone is made up of a shaft and octagonal braces .

The many ornaments and inscriptions have been somewhat erased by time. The top part and the arms are finished with octagonal flower-shaped motifs and bear a button in relief. In the center, we can see a scallop shell surmounted by a small cross in relief.
