The Ambronay Cultural Encounter Center has the following main missions: the enhancement of the Ambronay Abbey, the creation of devices to raise public awareness of early music and the management of an experimental laboratory.
Synthesis between an exceptional monument and an abundant artistic project developed around a music festival, the CCR of Ambronay is a place dedicated to artistic creation, mediation towards the public, research and training of young talents.
Around the Early Music Festival - emblematic activity of the CCR, Ambronay - the CCR is developing an ambitious professional integration program for young artists and creators (in particular with its EEEMERGING+ program – emerging European ensembles), giving an important place to amateur practice and to cultural action, offers a rich and varied heritage offer and engages in-depth reflection on the relationship between culture, tourism and economy with the establishment of a seminar center and a business club. All of these activities benefit from international distribution via the record label Ambronay Éditions.
The seminar activity that has existed since 2012 is based on the availability of the renovated South Wing for business activities.

Opening
Free access to the church and cloister of the Abbey of Ambronay all year round from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m. in winter and from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. in summer.
The Ambronay meeting center is open from Monday to Friday and by reservation on weekends.
