Perouges Spring

Probably THE music festival near Lyon. At the Printemps de Pérouges, the best of the national and international artists of the moment follow each other. French variety, pop and rock form a nice mix of genres for this unavoidable of the popular music scene. In recent years, the festival has taken over the park childhood house from the author of “The Little Prince”, Antoine de St-Exupéry.

Ambronay Festival

With more than 40 editions, the oldest unmissable festivals around Pérouges focused on early music. During 4 weekends in the fall, the beautiful abbey of Ambronay vibrates to the sound of classical and world music. An exceptional setting for internationally renowned musicians who delight the ears of audiences of all ages.

Sylak Open Air

Without a doubt the most original among this selection of unmissable festivals in Ain. This little cousin of hellfest landed his flight cases in a small little-known village a few kilometers from Pérouges. Every year in the heart of summer, the places are charged with vibrations rock and metal of Sylak Open Air.

Alongside the “big machines”, the south of Ain is also fortunate to have several festivals more intimate. In Bugey, these musical events friendly and on a human scale are very attached to their land.

Let's get the music

The little festival that goes on its merry way. Born from an improvised concert in a grangeon, these winegrowers' cabins in Bugey, he will soon celebrate his 20th birthday. This meeting between musicians and winegrowers created a traveling festival. Thus the concerts take place in private places, little-known or unusual, by mountains (of Bugey) and by valleys. An intimate program that comes in all tones.

Optimistic festival

Pérouges Medieval Festival

La fête médiévale de Pérouges (Ain), le 2e week-end de juin est un incontournable des festivals autour de la cité médiévale et proche de Lyon.

An unmissable event of the Medieval city from Pérouges. For a weekend, the village reconnects with Middle Ages. Musicians, acrobat troupes, markets and parades enliven the surroundings of the town.

Khroma Festival

Peinture murale du parcours des fresques street art de Tenay dans la vallée de l'Albarine (Bugey - Ain). A retrouver lors du Khrôma Festival, tous les deux ans.

Ecophilofete

Une journée de fête autour de la biodiversité sur la carrière Vicat, près de la cité médiévale de Pérouges (Ain), à l'est de Lyon.

In a setting between lunar crater and lagoon, a festive day to understand the life of a CAREER. The opportunity to learn more about the biodiversity of such a place, and its future rehabilitation.
