Throughout the season, the MAC offers various exhibitions of contemporary art in an old craftsman's house from the Middle Ages in the heart of the medieval city of Pérouges. It also welcomes artists for creation residencies.

The Maison des Arts Contemporains (MAC) offers five exhibitions a year. The visit is free and free. A mediator is present on site to accompany visitors. The MAC supports young contemporary creation by offering artists professional exhibition conditions. It also has an educational role vis-à-vis tourists and people from the region (especially school children). It welcomes young artists for research residences or exhibition preparation for periods of 1 to 3 months.
The Maison des Arts Contemporains has several levels with stairs to climb to the entrance (about 15 steps) and then inside from one level to another.
