Originally, a municipality with an agricultural vocation, which in the 19th century with the birth of industry, experienced a lasting change in the urban landscape of the Albarine Valley. The route highlights the industrial past of La Schappe, the silk thread spinning mills.
Since 2021, Tenay - deserted for a few decades - has taken on new colors with the murals created by a group of street art artists during the Khrôma Festival. These urban paintings can be admired throughout the year along a route, destined to grow over the biennials of the festival.
Consult the interactive map or download the digital version of the Tenay murals on the Khröma festival website.
