Getting to the starting point

From Lhuis to Millieu

(50'): departure in front of the town hall. Take the 1st street on the left at the corner of the restaurant. After the lock washhouse, go up the second street on the left. Past the last houses, continue to the end of the paved road. Arrival at a place called "Les Pierres Plates", which can be seen by turning to the south. At point 454 (IGN map), i.e. NW direction, turn right, then left at the crossroads and the second right. After 250m, leave the path by a path on the right in the woods. (Passage in front of the hamlet of Millieu and view of the lake). Join the path leading to the D79 and cross it with caution.

From Millieu to St-Martin (1h05):

Enter the hamlet, leave the road at the 1st bend after the washhouse by a path that runs along the stream. After several forks, join the D41, take it to the left for 50 m to leave it towards the road up a path to enter a meadow. Keep to the edge on the left, take the path going up in the woods to overlook Lhuis. Carefully follow the yellow markings towards St-Martin. Join the Chèvre circuit (another walking path) shortly before descending to St-Martin.

From St-Martin to Lhuis (1h20):

Go down in this hamlet for 150 m and turn sharply to the left towards the wash house, and further to the right after the vines to reach Ansolin. In Ansolin, turn left on the D10a road, then right on the municipal road of the hamlet of Golet. Cross the D79 and take a path opposite. After 50 m turn right into a path. A succession of changes of direction leads back to Lhuis by way of tennis. Arrived at the tennis court, enter the meadow opposite. Turn left into the vineyards. Take the small road to the left. Continue to Lhuis, turning right via Verezel and the Conand district.
