From Perouges to Bugey
The Evosges pass, a short but intense pass...
To reach the Col d'Evosges (759 m) from Saint-Rambert en Bugey you have to take the D 1504 and count a good 2 km to get to Oncieu then another 4 km to the pass.
Superb climb of 10 km by this western slope via the village of Oncieu nicknamed village in the round with its particular arrangement around a vast circular central meadow. Passing from the undergrowth to the switchbacks, the ascent is short but intense with steep slopes going up to a maximum of 8.8%.
At the top, an incredible view of the Bugey mountains, the Albarine valley and the famous village of Oncieu.
