From Perouges to Bugey

Seillonnaz-Crept climbing site

Discovered in 1991, this renowned site is almost the dean of the Monts du Bugey. The routes of about thirty meters in height, rather in slope, offer a climbing favorable to the high quotations. Beautiful routes and beautiful views on the program!

The limestone cliff has 5 main sectors and 162 routes, with a difficulty of 5c to 8c, with a median rating of 6c. The orientation is SouthEast/South/SouthWest quarter.

The type of climbing is divided between vertical, slab and cant. The heights range from 20 to 35 m.

The best times to practice are from March to June and from September to December, subject to favorable weather conditions (site exposed to rain).

The site is mainly maintained by the Roc in Bugey club.
NB: Attention, 70 m rope essential for some top-ropers.

Opening

The cliff and its surroundings are prohibited from all outdoor activities from February 15 to June 15 by order of the biotope.
